Ingredients
  • 3lbs Bone In Pork Butt
  • 1 1/2cups Apple Juice
  • 1/4cup Lemon Juice
  • 1/2cup Brown Sugar
  • 2Tbs Salt
  • 2Tbs Cumin
  • 2tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 2tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1tsp Ground Mustard
  • 1tsp Oregano
  • 1/2tsp Coriander
  • 1/4tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/4tsp Ground Black Pepper
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in large 5-7 quart slow cooker. Remember to do it by about noon if you want dinner. Cover. Turn to high and cook for about 4 hours. If you remembered earlier in the day, turn to low for about 6-7 hours.
  2. When the meat has started to fall away from the bone, take two forks and pull the meat apart into smaller chunks. Pull and mash further into strings. Stir to evenly distribute in remaining liquid, then recover and cook about another half hour on high, or an hour on low. The meat should just start to brown and caramelize in places as it finishes cooking. Stir as needed during the final cooking time. Serve and enjoy!
