Capitol Hill Dress – Sew Fab Bundle

It’s Sew Fab Bundle time! An awesome time of year, right? This time it’s all about the Ladies! Ten all new women’s patterns! I got to test the Capitol Hill Dress by Straight Stitch Designs.

This is the second pattern I’ve gotten to test for Kimberly. I love her designs! She’s always got something a little different than you’ve ever seen before up her sleeve. Well, this time it’s on the bodice. See those cool pleats? I love this little design detail!

And there are tons of options for this dress. You can do a gathered skirt, like mine, or a circle skirt to reduce bulk at the waist. You can do tunic length and elbow length sleeves. You can even do a woven skirt and knit top.

I wore my dress to Thanksgiving, and it would easily work for office attire or going out for dinner. But it’s also a sit around the house and be comfy but not look like a slob when you pick your kids up from school dress. Or when you have to bike to the grocery store, like I did yesterday right before taking these pictures.

Check out the rest of the Sew Fab Bundle too! These patterns are only available together now for a limited time until December 15th. It’s less than $3 per pattern! There’s also a great giveaway on that page you totally have to enter. Hello, I totally have the Norah nightie and underwear printed up and ready to sew, and definitely could live all summer in the reversible Wander Skirt.
